Test Day Procedures
- Plan to arrive at the Test Centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the test. Latecomers may not be admitted.
- At check-in, You MUST hand in your Test Admission Ticket, Passport-Type Photo and show your original valid photo Identification document.
- You will be assigned a seat by supervisory staff.
- Just before the test begins, the Supervisor will make several important announcements, and then instruct you to begin the test.
- Scrap paper for rough work will be included in your test booklet.
- When you are finished the test, raise your hand. A test supervisor will check your photo identification and collect your test. Once you are checked-out, you will be free to leave.

Test Day Rules
- No dictionaries, books, papers, or electronic devices are to be used during the exam. Cell phones and other electronic devices must be turned off. If your cellphone rings during the test, you may be asked to leave the test sitting.
- Attempts to give or receive assistance or otherwise communicate by any means about the test content with another person during the examination is strictly forbidden.
- There is no scheduled rest break during the LPI test. It is recommended that you go to the washroom before the test sitting. If you become ill, you must notify a test supervisor.
